What are your wax melts made of?
We use a unique blend of 100% natural soy wax, wax friendly dye, the highest quality fragrance oils and a little glitter to bring some shimmer to your life.

How long will my wax melt last?
Our wax melts have a strong scent which will last a minimum of 10 hours per piece.
When can I expect to receive my order?
We are very passionate about getting our products to you in the quickest time possible, that's why we aim to get your products fulfilled and shipped within 24 hours of ordering Monday-Friday. (Please allow 1/2 extra working days during busy periods such as Christmas and Sales).
During the current pandemic Royal Mail are experiencing severe delays across there network we cannot guarantee when your order will arrive, once the order has shipped it is out of our control to how quick it arrives. You should receive confirmation of your order shipping please check your spam/junk folders. If you have any questions regarding your order use the contact form on our website and we will be in touch within 24hours.
There are two options at checkout for shipping. 48hr and 24hr Both sent via Royal Mail.
We offer free shipping over £25 this will be sent on our standard 48hr rate. If you require your items as soon as possible please upgrade to our 24hr rate.
We spend a lot of extra time to package orders to ensure they are safe on their journey to you. As our melts are made from 100% natural wax they can sometimes crack in transit this is expected and cannot be helped. It will not affect the melts performance and is a good sign the wax is natural.
How do I cancel my order?
If you wish to cancel your order please contact us directly at email@example.com as soon as possible.
If your order has already been despatched unfortunately we will be unable to cancel your order.
How long will my refund take?
If for whatever reason you asked to cancel your order for a refund before it is fulfilled and shipped we will process this within 24 hours. It is then down to Shopify and your method of payment to put the funds back into your account. Shopify states this can take up to 10 days and is totally out of our control as to how quick this happens.
How do I return my order?
If you are unhappy with your order once you receive it you have 14 days from receipt to send your item back to us. Please ensure any items being returned are in there original packaging and unused. If there are any signs of use we cannot accept the returned item.
Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a signed for service via Royal Mail. If for any reason the returned item gets lost in the post please contact Royal Mail for information and support.
A refund will be issued within 14 working days electronically using your original payment method.
Are your products CLP Compliant?
Yes. Every wax melt you purchase from Shimmer Wax Melts will come with the correct CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging) attached as per the current EU guidelines. Please store our melts in the packaging they came with so the CLP is on hand should you need to refer back to it. If you ever require help with ingredients before purchasing please contact ud and we can advise.
Are you insured?
Yes we are fully insured via Direct Line Business.
How do I dispose of the packaging/product when used?
Please ensure you dispose of the container/container’s and contents of your wax melts and packing in accordance with local regulations. Including packaging used for shipping.
